About the speakers:
Dr Mark Hodge
Chief Executive Officer – DMTC Ltd
Dr Mark Hodge is a professional engineer with a background in strategic innovation and technology management, business leadership and defence capability development underpinned by technology and innovation. Dr. Hodge is the founding CEO of the DMTC.
Prior to his current role, Dr Hodge was the CEO of Australian Aerospace & Defence Innovations Ltd, where he developed strategic technology partnerships and corporate strategies in the aerospace & defence/military sector throughout the world, including Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.
Dr Hodge has worked in the defence and aerospace fields since 1997 including business development, business partnership & strategy roles, in addition to direct technology development responsibilities in Australia and the United States.
In addition to several corporate leadership roles in the private sector, Dr. Hodge has worked in policy development areas in government and in research/teaching roles at Universities. Dr. Hodge is the author of 2 US patents and numerous US industry publications.
Dr Hodge maintains strong personal and professional networks throughout Australia and North America, consults for a number of local and international defence companies and is a member of the Sir Lawrence Wackett Centre for Aerospace Advisory Board and the Monash University Engineering Industry Advisory Board.
