The Symposium aims to examine current and emerging applications of genomics in healthcare delivery, particularly the technology-driven DNA sequencing strategies involved. These applications will be accompanied by generation of gigabytes or more of data which then require primary, secondary and tertiary analysis and subsequent storage. The interplay with emerging eMRs and other eHealth initiatives is of great importance, but only starting to be considered.
This event will bring together Australia’s leading healthcare providers and innovators from research, industry and government to explore the applications of genomics to personalising healthcare and the challenge of how to manage the large data sets that will be generated in the process.
This ATSE Symposium will bring together a range of distinguished speakers with unmatched expertise including experts both from Australia and the UK.
