Are you a women or non-binary person interested in applying for an Elevate: Boosting Women in STEM scholarship for 2024?
Applications are open for the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering’s Elevate: Boosting Women in STEM Scholarships. The Elevate Program aims to address gender inequities in STEM through fostering more women-led industry-academia collaborations in applied research and business, growing professional skills of women in STEM and propelling women into leadership. Elevate scholarships are provided to women and non-binary people studying undergraduate STEM degrees, postgraduate research degrees, and Masters of STEM/Postgraduate degrees to improve business acumen. In addition to a scholarship, the Elevate Program provides access to events and networking, mentoring and ongoing support during scholars’ university studies.
Anyone interested in learning more about the program and applying for the 2024 intake is invited to join ATSE for a public online information session on 4th July 2023. This session will include an overview of the program’s aims and objectives, tips and tricks for applying for the program, followed by a Q&A session for applicants.
This event will be accessible, with live captions, and an interpreter. A recording will be made publicly available after the event.
Applicants are required to meet three eligibility criteria:
- Identify as a woman or non-binary person
- Be enrolling as a domestic student
- Be planning to undertake a STEM degree or higher studies to improve business acumen at an Australian university, commencing in 2024
