Visionary Leadership can drive transformational change across the entire STEM sector. Visionary leaders inspire, empower, enthuse, and work collaboratively to enact this change.

Each year, a new cohort of around 400 PhD students and early-career researchers from all around Australia join the transformative industry mentoring program offered as part of ATSE’s Industry Mentoring Network in STEM (IMNIS) initiative- IMNIS Engage.

The IMNIS Visionary Leadership event series celebrates the beginning of this exciting journey for new IMNIS Engage mentees and the conclusion of another successful year linking future STEM leaders with current industry leaders.

The theme for the 2022 IMNIS Visionary Leadership event series will be ‘harnessing change for the future’, as we aim to explore the opportunities that current and future leaders can embrace to foster positive changes in how we research, connect, collaborate, and innovate.

The event series will feature inspiring keynotes, insightful panel discussions and will bring together 500+ attendees across five in-person events around Australia (with the potential of live-streaming selected talks).

Participating IMNIS mentors and mentees, and alumni are a key part of this momentous occasion. The events will also bring together ATSE Fellows, University representatives, STEM students, early-career researchers and industry professionals.

IMNIS is looking for sponsors interested in shaping the future of our emerging STEM leaders and help ignite their passion to contribute to a stronger STEM sector. For further information or partnership opportunities please contact our team at IMNIS@atse.org.au
