ATSE’s submission to the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources Future Fuels Strategy sets out a vision for clean, affordable and reliable future fuels to power Australia to support us to reach net zero emissions by no later than 2050 – at an acceptable cost and reliability.
The Strategy sets out a positive approach to adopting low-emissions transport technologies at scale, and provides good oversight of the barriers to widespread adoption of new transport technologies. Given transport’s growing contribution to Australia’s carbon emissions, ATSE encourages a more ambitious approach to decarbonising the private transport sector.
