ATSE co-hosted this webinar with the Israel-Australia Chamber of Commerce, featuring Israel’s Minister of Science and Technology, Mr Izhar Shay.
Live from Israel, Minister Shay spoke about his vision for strengthening the connection between basic and applied research and industrial development, increasing the social and economic vigour of society, expanding Israel’s scientific human capital and ensuring equal opportunity in science and technology for all sectors and communities.
This was a joint event between ATSE and the Israel-Australia Chamber of Commerce.

Izhar Shay is a prominent public figure, in the past he wrote a popular weekly column in Globes, Israel’s main financial daily, authored two books and founded Israel’s largest digital community for entrepreneurs (‘Start-Up Stadium’) with about 45,000 members. He also founded and anchored a popular radio program (‘High-Tech Ba’Pkakim’), which reached tens of thousands on a weekly basis.
