ATSE is bringing its extensive expertise supporting career development for women in science to the Kim Jackson Scholars at the Australian National University.
Throughout 2026, five scholars in the final year of their engineering degrees will be paired with a dedicated mentor from ATSE’s IMNIS mentoring program – the Industry Mentoring Network in STEM. They will have access to skills development workshops alongside university students from ATSE’s Elevate: Boosting diversity in STEM scholarship program.
This will sit alongside the extensive financial and study support that the Kim Jackson Scholarships provide students to complete their science and engineering degrees.
ATSE’s career offerings are highly regarded in the STEM sector. They provide new science students important skills in career advancement: building professional networks, finding job opportunities, leveraging their passions, and communicating with impact.
The mentoring and guidance available to the Kim Jackson scholars will help them advance in their journey as future leaders in STEM.
ATSE is proud to extend the reach of its programs through this new offering, leveraging its network of hundreds of IMNIS alumni and the Elevate program to provide these scholars a truly unique experience and help empower them to build Australia’s STEM future.
