International partnerships are essential for building Australia’s science and research capabilities and creating global opportunities for our industries to thrive.
ATSE is proud to implement the Strategic Element of the Australian Government’s Global Science and Technology Diplomacy Fund, in collaboration with the Australian Academy of Science.
The fund’s strategic element provides flexible funding for collaborative projects aligned with Australia’s priority research areas including:
- Advanced manufacturing
- Artificial intelligence
- Quantum computing
- Hydrogen production
- RNA (including mRNA) vaccines and therapies
Commencing in 2024, grants will be available to grow international collaboration in our region, enhance Australia’s standing as a science and technology leader, and drive innovation and commercialisation in priority areas.
Grants from AUD $100,000 to $1,000,000 are available for eligible Australian organisations collaborating on key areas of science and technology with priority partner countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
Expressions of interest are now open. Apply through the application website.
