Australian Government review of Australia’s space industry capability

Industry and innovation

Submission

National coordination is needed to meet Australia’s critical need for secure, long-term satellite capability.

This should involve both national strategy for access to international systems and operation of our own satellites. Lead times in the Australian space industry are long, and viable national space programs require sustained public policy support and investment.
