Dr Hill has made oustanding achievement in science and engineering research and development, which has greatly benefited Australian industries, particularly those employing separation technology e.g. Australian mining industry and the international membrane and packaging industries. Her research has resulted in step changes in materials for slurry solids separations and radical changes in membrane and barrier packaging material design and processing for gas separations. She has led research teams that have developed materials and processes that have been successfully implemented in minral seperations, gas and liquid seperations, and barrier packaging industries.
