Professor Ronalds worked in development, detailed engineering, fabrication, installation and operating support for major fixed and floating platforms in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico and the North West Shelf. She has extensive research experience in damage and residual strength testing for jackets and floating platforms adopted by international certifying authorities.
As Director of the Centre for Oil and Gas Engineering and as Woodside Professor at the University of Western Australia, her achievements are testimony to her qualities in scholarly leadership and management. She has set the highest standards in creating respected partnerships between academe and industry and between universities.
