Dr McCluskey has over 25 years international experience in the semiconductor industry, in research, development and manu­facture. As its General Manager in the period 1986-1990 he was responsible for the concept of AWA MicroElectronics world-class silicon integrated circuit facility in Sydney, and for its construction and successful commissioning. The facility operates to the highest international quality standards, with yields comparable to the best in the world. This achievement represents an important contribution to Australia's technological capabilities.
Dr McCluskey has been invited as keynote speaker to local and international conferences, and serves on a number of industry advisory boards.
