Professor Prasad is a passionate advocate of sustainable development. From the design of his award-winning showcase home to large-scale cities throughout the Asia-Pacific, Deo has demonstrated national and international leadership through his work as an architect, academic and expert with such leading organisations as the United Nations Environment Program and as CEO of Co-operative Research Centre for Low Carbon Living.

Having made major contributions to the technical development and integration of energy efficiency principles in the built environment, he?s served as President of the Australia New Zealand Solar Energy Society and Chair of the UN Global Civil Society Forum (Asia-Pacific).
