Professor Don Bursill has made an outstanding contribution to the water industry and government. He has spent 39 years in the water industry with his principal interests in water quality policy and management, treatment technologies, water resources planning and management and analytical techniques. He is nationally and internationally recognised for his expertise and leadership and has headed up a number of international collaborative programs. These include a period as Deputy Chair of the Global Water Research Coalition, representing 500 million consumers and research programs of more than $100 million annually. He is SA?s Chief Scientist.
