Elizabeth is a major force within the minerals industry both through her role within Gekko Systems and also her leadership of key industry bodies especially those involved with delivering services and in broader committees focussed on innovation. Her drive and commitment has enabled Gekko Systems to become a global supplier of specialist mining equipment and services. She has also keen very active in the wider Mining Services industry which is a major export earner for Australia. More recently she has led the formation of CEEC and is also leading the Mets Ignited initiative. Overall she is very worthy of recognition as an Academy Fellow.
