Professor Eric Reynolds has made an outstanding international contribution to oral health science. His seminal work has led to a novel technology called 'Recaldent' to repair early tooth decay without invasive procedures. He is the holder of many worldwide patents upon which Recaldent is based and which are now in oral health products that generate revenue of over $200 million per annum resulting in both jobs and export earnings for Australia.

Professor Eric Reynolds is a leader in Dental Science as head of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne, Chief Executive Officer of the CRC for Oral Health Science and Executive Director of the Victorian Centre for Oral Health Science.
