Dr.McGarry has had a distinguished career in the chemical industry in research and development and also in management with both the ICI group and Huntsman. He has been responsible for major developments in the Animal Health field and has managed a research and development team which over the past ten years has produced annually on average 31 new products and improved formulations, which have provided increased sales revenue of approximately $13 million p.a. He has also developed a system of metrics to measure the benefits from industrial R&D.
