John Chemical Pizzey's career has been associated with the Alumina/Aluminium industry, firstly in Australia as a Chemical Engineer, and ultimately as Chairman of Alcoa of Australia Ltd, and the in very senior positions with the parent company Alcoa in the USA.
He was associated with the London Metal Exchange for a number of years, ultimately becoming Chairman in 2003. He therefore has had a very wide experience in the field of international metals. He retired from Alcoa in 2004(?) and returned to live in Australia.
