Dr Graeme Blackman has made an outstanding contribution to the development of a research and development based pharmaceutical industry in Australia. He established the Institute of Drug Technology Australia Limited as a private company in 1986 and is now its Chairman and Managing Director. He has demonstrated leadership of the Pharmaceutical Industry in Australia through his chairmanship of the Federal Goverment's Pharmaceutical Industry Action Agenda and his activities in Medicines Australia.
