Dr Graham McMaster is nominated for election to fellow of the Academy in recognition of his achievements and contributions for the Grains, Milling and Baking Industries of Australia. His work has assisted in securing niche markets for Australian grains through development of quality requirements of wheat and flour for high quality Asian and Middle Eastern food products.
Dr McMaster's leadership in management of generic research has made a major impact in the Milling, Baking and Food Industries. He has made significant contributions in focussing industry and government attention on food legislative issues of economic significance to Australia. His vision and efforts have been integral in the successful development of postgraduate and vocational training in the Milling and Baking Industries.
