Mr Graham SPURLING is 48 years of age. He is a Bachelor of Technology from Adelaide University and a Master of Automotive Engineering from the Chrysler Institute.
His entire career has been with Chrysler Australia ( until 1 980) when he became Plant Manager and subsequently (on change of ownership) the Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors Australia. He is still active on technical cormni ttees such as Aluminium Foundry & 'lbol Room review. He pioneered many of the Japanese car making techniques within western culture.
Mr Spurling was a part-time CSIRO executive, and is now a member of its new Board of Directors. He is a director of SIROI'ECH Ltd.
