Ian Cameron is the leading engineering educator in Australia, and highly regarded internationally. He has received the nation's most prestigious awards for addressing how engineering theory and practice can be integrated in a better university/industry partnership through use of a range of pedagogies and curriculum designs. This work is underpinned by an outstanding research career in which he has led development of an integrated systems approach to process engineering. Through his books, lecturing and consulting to industry, he has instilled his approach in a generation of undergraduate and postgraduate students, and in the work practices of many large companies.
