Biography at time of election

Dr Cashen is internationally recognised for his pioneering work in stealth technology, particularly its application to the design of the US B2 Bomber, and also for his work in radar and infrared surveillance.

He's a Fellow of the US National Academy of Engineering (a sister institution to ATSE), and has received numerous prestigious awards. He has also served on many high level government and industry boards.

Now a permanent Australian resident, he is leading and contributing to R&D programs in radar surveillance. His energy and drive, together with his extensive experience in aerospace and electromagnetics, make him a valuable addition to the Australian community.
