Professor Keller is an internationally recognised leader and highly influential industry expert in water treatment
and technologies - matters of great interest to the Academy. His fields of expertise are of substantial
importance to water management in Australia and include water treatment technologies, water recycling and
resource re-use (eg nutrients, energy), biochemical engineering, environmental process technologies,
biological nutrient removal and bioelectrochemical process technologies.
His research achievements are outstanding and his leadership of the Advance Water Management Centre has
seen Professor Keller and AWMC become a major contributor to innovative water technologies and a
respected advice group to the water industry.
