influential in the development of water markets and the regionalisation of the Victorian water industry.

He has actively promoted excellent research as fundamental to underpinning policy. As CEO of the Water Services Association of Australia he has turned an industry lobby group into an exciting think tank that not only represents the urban water issues to Government and the science community, but also challenges long held assumptions by its members.
