Malcolm Macpherson is Managing Director of Westralian Sands Ltd. which has recently merged with RGC Ltd. to create the second largest minerals sands company in the world.

He is regarded as a key figure in the international mineral sands arena. Malcolm has utilised Research and Development to improve the profitability of Westralian Sands and is a strong advocate of environmental sensitivity in the industry.

As President of the WA Chamber of Mines he led the mining industry debate in native titles. Active in community affairs, he chairs the Board of Western Power and serves on the Senate of Murdoch University.
