Naidu has led a transformation in the risk-assessment and management of contamination in Australia with wide adoption of more cost-effective and safer remediation practices and policies. He has driven the creation of new consortia linking industry, regulators and community to resolve difficult remediation problems to: protect agricultural land; remediate urban contaminated sites; rehabilitate mine sites and prevent groundwater contamination. Naidu is internationally recognised as: Fellow of the AAAS, SSSA, NZSSS and ASA; Winner, Pratt-Banksia CEO Award; Instigator of the CleanUp Conferences and Global Contamination and Remediation Enterprise
