Dr Meek has excelled in a variety of capacities at the interface of industry, academic and government. Sue has achieved national and international recognition of her outstanding ability and success in formulating and implementing ground breaking policies and programs that have increased cooperation between these sectors. At the State level this resulted in millions of dollars of co-investment in the conduct and commercialisation of R&D and the adoption of appropriate technologies by new and existing industries. She has significantly influenced national policy through her participation in the design, administration and review of industry-oriented innovation support programs. She is also a major contributor to enhancing public understanding of science and technology.
