Professor Suresh Bhargava, Dean of Applied Sciences RMIT, is a distinguished and highly cited researcher. He has 200+ publications, 3 patents and maintains a very high impact research output of internationally regarded excellence. His research in industrial chemistry has been instrumental in the development of technologies that advance Australian resource industries. These technologies include on-line processes for minerals characterisation, solution speciation, the measurement of mercury in complex industrial gaseous effluents and improved catalytic processes for treating industrial aqueous streams. Professor Bhargava has received the RACI RK Murphy medal, Australia?s award in industrial chemistry.
