Biography at time of election

Mr Warwick Bisley has worked in the petrochemical industry for 30 years in Australia and overseas. He has led the rationalisation of the Altona Chemical Complex resulting in the formation of Kemcor Australia and the introduction of the latest olefins technology.

Employee productivity has been raised over 40% and for this work the Company has won external recognition and many awards.

He has been recognised as a leader of the Australian chemical industry by his appointment as President of the Australian Chemical Industry Council and then President of the Plastics and Chemicals Industry Association (PACIA).
He played a leadership role in the formation of PACIA from three industry associations and has enhanced Government and community under­standing of the importance of the chemical industry.

Community recognition of his abilities is reflected in his appointment as Chair of the State Training Board, Victoria.
