Professor Wu is a world renowned metallurgical engineer who is Director of the Centre of Excellence for Light Metals and is making a major impact on advanced manufacturing technologies for the aerospace industry. She has established two research centres, has facilitated a start-up company and is leading the creation of a new ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub in additive manufacturing.
