Throughout a period of over 25 years, Professor Yianni Attikiouzel has made extensive contributions to new technology developments and their application especially in bio-medical engineering and related fields in which technology is applied to medicine to human benefit; and to university undergraduate and postgraduate education research in electrical engineering, electronic eningeering and information technology. Professor Attikiouzel is a leader of outstanding ability. His leadership in multi-disciplinary research and new technology development and application and in university teaching, research and management is widely acknowledged and acclaimed.
