Rebooting the economy
Improved productivity requires improved education, innovation and smarter infrastructure

Increased demand for government services is in many ways the modern zeitgeist, manifested most remarkably in recent times by demands on our health system from increased health impacts from COVID-19 and climate disasters.

Investing in human capital, making it easier to do business to create new job opportunities, best practice STEM teaching. a modern vocational education and training (VET) system and a coordinated, technology-driven transition away from fossil fuels are all needed. And these initiatives must to be supported by smarter infrastructure which underpins modern economies.

Hear recommendations from NSW Productivity Commissioner and former NSW Auditor General Peter Achterstraat AM who has recently released a detailed white paper Rebooting the Economy addressing many of these issues.
