Australia’s tech and engineering academy has welcomed the release of the report of the Senate inquiry into funding and resourcing for CSIRO, saying it shows the urgent need for long-term certainty of funding for Australia’s flagship research agency.
ATSE is encouraging the Australian Government to progress the SERD reforms to strengthen Australia’s innovation system and future prosperity.
Australia’s leading tech and engineering academy said that today’s mid-year budget update gives the Australian STEM community both cause for concern and relief – and overall points to an urgent need for long-term strategy and funding.
