We are a Learned Academy made up of almost 900 Fellows elected by their peers.
Board
The Academy’s Board comprises the President, eight elected Fellows, the CEO and, from time to time, a Director elected by the Board.
Divisions
The Academy has Divisions in each State and Territory that liaise with their governments.
They act as a link between the Academy’s head office, its interstate counterparts and Fellows. They also provide continuing education for Fellows and a social network.
Forums
Our Forums investigate and provide advice on issues that are critical to Australia’s future.
The Forums comprise of Fellows with relevant expertise and professional interest in each area of focus, who collaborate to develop position and action statements.
ACOLA
ATSE is a member of the Australian Council of Learned Academies (ACOLA)
Secretariat
The Secretariat work on policy development (government submissions, inquiries and consultations) organise and run workshops, seminars, delegations and briefings to support the work of the Academy and Fellows.
