Accessibility requirements
Should you require assistance or special considerations to access the venues or hearing/visual aids to participate in functions, please include details during registration under ‘Accessibility Requirements’ to allow us to make for an inclusive, pleasant and comfortable experience during the showcase.

Catering & dietary requirements
At the ATSE New Fellows Showcase morning and afternoon tea and lunch will be provided as part of your registration. In addition there will be one complimentary barista coffee cart available throughout the showcase. Dietary requests will be catered for to the best of the caterer’s ability and individuals must take primary responsibility for their own health.
If you have not provided ATSE with your dietary requirement during registration, please contact us as soon as possible at events@atse.org.au.

Code of Conduct
ATSE is committed to leading a positive and ethical culture in which all persons treat each other with respect. Breaches of the Code of Conduct are to be reported and dealt with in accordance with the Code’s protocol.

COVID-safe event
Delegates attending the ATSE New Fellows Showcase and ATSE Awards Gala Dinner are required to adhere to ACT and Commonwealth Government COVID regulations and requirements.

Dress code
For the ATSE Awards Gala Dinner at the National Arboretum Canberra, the dress code is black tie.

Insurance
Registration does not cover any general delegate insurance. Delegates are recommended to secure their own general travel insurance. ATSE does not take responsibility for any delegate failing to insure.

Registration desk
The registration and information desk will be open for the duration of the ATSE New Fellows Showcase and will serve as your main point of contact for all enquiries.

During the day of Thursday 26 October ATSE will be holding the New Fellows Showcase. Join us as we welcome our 2023 Fellows elected by the Fellowship on the basis of excellence, accomplishment, and fit with a modern and future-facing Academy – ensuring they contribute to the Academy’s mission of helping Australians understand and use applied science, technology and engineering to solve complex problems. Over the day we will hold a number of panels to discuss the theme Breaking Barriers: Realising Australia’s technological advantage. This event is open to all.
