A proud Cabrogal woman of the Dharug-speaking nation, Mikaela Jade is a passionate advocate for using new and emerging technologies to amplify knowledge and culture from remote and ancient cultures.

As the founder of Australia’s first Indigenous education-technology company, she has created meaningful pathways into the digital economy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Through Indigital’s training programs – covering everything from artificial intelligence to augmented reality – Mikaela is empowering a diverse, emerging generation of Indigenous engineers and IT innovators. She has also played a key role in the Australian government’s Pathway to Diversity in STEM review.

Mikaela’s expertise in weaving tech with Indigenous knowledge has captured attention on the global stage, from tech giants like Microsoft to world leaders at the United Nations.
